With Xpedius, you can create standardized reports so you never have to wonder what to say... or if you spelled it correctly.
Checklists ensure that you report the same diagnoses the same way every time, on every specimen type – without leaving out any crucial elements. Build a knowledge base that is right where you need it, when you need it.
Xpedius checklists are fully customizable with a variety of widgets such as multiple choice, checkbox, and text input at your disposal. With conditional logic controls, you can even have your checklists “think” for you.
Take Xpedius wherever your practice takes you. All you need is a computer with internet access (and a compatible browser). The plain-text reports can easily be copied and pasted into any laboratory information system; no additional software needed.
Users can share checklists they create with anyone. Additionally, with customizable tooltips and PDF attachments for each checklist, Xpedius can be an excellent tool for attending physicians to help guide their trainees on how to construct quality reports.
Xpedius offers an alternative to freely dictated, error-prone pathology reports that may lack substance and uniformity. Construct your reports systematically using smart, customizable, checklist-style templates.
Dr. Jon Finan, a practicing surgical pathologist, long ago envisioned a solution that would integrate diagnostic decision-making and professional networking into crafting pathology reports.
To make it happen, he teamed up with Tiffany “TJ” Jakowczuk, a tech-savvy medical student and histology assistant, to develop Xpedius and transform that vision into reality in the form of a practical, web-based application.
After several early versions, the Xpedius team expanded to include members from Beeso Startup Studio who helped propel the vision.

This tool is brilliant! It not only helps to build a pathology report in malignant cases but also walks me through the sign out of medical liver and GI biopsies.
Xpedius helps me put together high-quality reports in significantly less time, without sacrificing my own writing style. I highly recommend it for the busy pathologist looking to increase their efficiency without compromising their work output.
Xpedius is an amazing program that can improve efficiency and accuracy for practicing pathologists and also be used to help teach trainees pertinent findings and appropriate wording/formatting.
Frustrated by the lack of affordable, quality reporting solutions available to pathologists, I decided to create my own. Now Xpedius is an indispensible tool in my own practice. Come build the future of pathology reporting with us!
